Turning to photography as a creative outlet during a valiant fight with breast cancer at age 34, renaissance10 survived and set up a photo contest to help raise funds for the Lavender Trust, a nonprofit that provides information and support to younger women with breast cancer. In the first two years, the competition brought in over £65,000 (that's $107,260.73 U.S.!), with entries from 130 countries last year. Renaissance10 recently joined LiveJournal to meet other passionate photographers and find supportive friends.

В преддверии выхода нового альбома Грузовиков "Живот", наткнулся на старинный материал 2001-го года. Как раз в то время кипела работа над "Воланчиком".
Мы не скрываем, что занимаемся поп-музыкой. Это наше кредо. Слово “альтернатива” уже давно заезжено, а мы не любим банальностей. Изобрели собственный термин — “экстремальная поп-музыка”. Фанк, джаз, хардкор, металл... Есть настроение делать приджазованную музыку, мы ее и делаем. А если кому-то покажется, что мы играем польку или краковяк, значит, так оно и есть. Я в краковяке не силен, так что могу не заметить, когда он вдруг проскочит в песне. Мы минималисты. Может быть, очень скоро за нами потянется толпа подражателей, и будут говорить: “А, это те, которые впервые в истории российской музыки отказались от гитары”. Или будут говорить так: “Ерунда, подумаешь, гитары у них нет”. Мы-то вообще давно играем только на одном замочке от хета, и голоса у нас нет, одно только редкое слабое позвякивание. Так что все еще впереди, и отказ от гитары — только первый шаг
